The representatives of The Church of England are bishops who sit in the parliament and their governor is the queen.

The Church of England is a church that got separated from the Catholic Church in 1534. It was established by the Parliament and is a part of the Anglican Communion. A further member of the communion is the Scottish Church which also came from the Catholic Church in 1690. Another constituent is the Church in Wales which became separated from the Church of England in 1920.

If we take a look at the statistics, we can see that the number of members of the Church of England was less in 2014 by 1.7 million. There has been a drop in the members of the Church since the beginning of the 1980s.
